I had written some really bad things on a note about another kid. I remember a time when I got into trouble. God is always willing and ready to help you with whatever it is that you need. So when you mess up, even if it’s for the 97th time, go to God. But here’s the truth: there’s no mess up too big for God’s love and forgiveness. Maybe it feels like you’re always messing up. He didn’t leave them alone when they messed up. See, it really made you feel weird and bad, didn’t it? God could have rubbed it in Adam’s face and left Him cold and naked.īut what did God do instead? He clothed Adam and Eve. I told you not to eat of the fruit from that tree. Now God could have said, I told you so, Adam. – Genesis 3:21 (NIV)Īdam felt naked because of His skin. The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. Check out what He did for Adam, who messed up really big. God loves you, regardless of how bad you mess up. But here’s the thing about God, no matter how bad you mess up, He still loves you. The guilt we feel can drive us to distance ourselves from God and from His love. We can often feel like we need to do something more. It can be really difficult sometimes to accept God’s forgiveness, however. However, the right thing to do is to admit your wrong and accept forgiveness from God. Yesterday, we talked a little about how easy it is to want to shift the blame onto someone else or something else when we do wrong and get caught. So today thank God that your relationship with Him is permanent! God’s love for you is deep and will never go away. You can experience hope when nothing seems good. It means that you can be joyful in trials. God’s love is permanent toward you and your access to a relationship with God will never change. He won’t change His mind and make you do something else to deserve the love of God. God won’t decide one day that He doesn’t love you. That’s how our relationship and access to God is. As hard as he tried, what he had written wouldn’t come off. He soon realized that he had mistakenly grabbed a permanent marker to write with instead of a dry erase one. However, when my friend went to erase what he had written, it wouldn’t come off. I remember one time, I watched a friend begin to write on a dry erase board at school. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory! – Romans 5:2 (TPT) Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God.
